The Napa County Farm Bureau presents the Napa Valley Recovery Funding and Policy Town Hall series for our community in January hosted by California State Treasurer Fiona Ma and California Farm Bureau President Jamie Johansson.

The two-part town hall series on January 12 and January 27 focused on business recovery funding solutions for Napa Valley’s businesses affected by the recent wildfires, as well as COVID-19, and wildfire prevention policy and long-term solutions for Napa County to mitigate the impact of future wildfire events. Topics included public and private funding options, insurance coverage, wildfire management practices, fire prevention and resiliency, among other important issues affecting Napa Valley.

Participants included California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, California Farm Bureau President Jamie Johansson, Senator Bill Dodd, Supervisor Alfredo Pedroza, Supervisor Diane Dillon, the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank, the California State Treasurer’s office, United Policyholders, Small Business Majority, CalFire, Napa Firewise, among a number of others.
