St. Helena Hospital and Napa County Farm Bureau Collaborate to Enhance Health Services for Farmworkers
The Napa County Farm Bureau is proud to announce a new partnership with the St. Helena Hospital Foundation (SHHF) to expand access to preventative healthcare for Napa County’s agricultural workforce and their families.
This collaboration will bring SHHF’s Mobile Health program directly to our farming communities, offering essential services such as blood pressure checks, glucose screenings, and seasonal flu and COVID-19 vaccinations — all at no cost. By providing care where people work and live, this initiative helps eliminate common barriers to healthcare access in rural areas.
“Our agricultural workers are the backbone of this region,” said SHHF President and CEO Glen Newhart. “We’re committed to meeting them where they are to ensure they receive the care they deserve.”
Napa County Farm Bureau CEO Peter Rumble added, “Caring for our ag workers is vital to the future of agriculture. This partnership makes it easier for our members to support the health and wellbeing of their teams.”
Mobile Health site visits are set to begin this spring, with a full schedule to be released soon. For updates and resources, visit napafarmbureau.org or shhfoundation.org.
