Bio of CEO Ryan Klobas

Ryan Klobas is the Chief Executive Officer of the Napa County Farm Bureau and the Napa County Farm Bureau Foundation. As the oldest industry organization in Napa Valley, the Napa County Farm Bureau serves as the public policy and political leader of Napa Valley’s world class agriculture and protects the interests of Napa’s world class farming community. 

Klobas is charged with leading all facets of both organizations, including their policy, political and charitable activities throughout Napa County.

Klobas brings an extensive background in public administration, politics and law. He has held a number of senior, high level positions in government and politics. He has served in the California State Assembly, US Congress, Chief of Staff in Contra Costa County and as a Deputy Cabinet Secretary to the Governor of California. 

Klobas has also successfully served as a campaign manager and political strategist in a number of races for US Congress, California State Assembly and county supervisor, having a record of winning every race for which he was responsible with no losses. 

At the time of his hiring, Farm Bureau President Manuel Rios said, “The Napa County Farm Bureau is very excited to bring Ryan on board. Klobas holds a law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco and a bachelor’s degree in Politics from Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga.
